PRACTICAL DENTAL TECHNOLOGY
(Odontotecnica pratica)

The modern dental technician must constantly develop his or her profession and know how to broaden his or her knowledge, comparing it with daily experience. In other words, he or she must be able to unite the talents of the planner and technician with the art of the old craftsman. However, the range of possibilities on offer means that the dental technician needs to choose only what is necessary and essential, what is really useful to the person who each day in the laboratory has to create an object in the best possible way and in the least possible time.
Odontotecnica pratica has been purposely planned to meet the needs of the dental technician. It uses direct language, leaving out the frills, so that what is learned is immediately applicable to the laboratory bench.
Odontotecnica pratica achieves this thanks to a concise text, illustrating fundamental passages, and using the dynamic pictures of the video to show either entire operative procedures or single parts of them. It represents an organised panorama of written, illustrated and filmed information which allows the reader to learn as directly and as efficiently as possible. The practical application is then in his or her expert hands.
Odontotecnica pratica will continue over time to accompany the activity and developments of the profession, paying particular attention to all that is new in the sector. It will be an active, reliable and, in time, real service for a profession that must be updated but has little time available.
